Heidi Ehrenreich started her career in healthcare research as a post-doc ORISE Fellow in the CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control. Since then, she worked abroad in Germany at the Max Planck Institute as a research coordinator, at a health foundation start-up and at the national headquarters of AOK health insurers in prevention research. Presently Dr. Ehrenreich supports investigator-initiated research at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Dr. Ehrenreich will focus on non-traditional paths to a career in healthcare research. She will share her experiences, tips and resources for seeking jobs in healthcare research guided by an international approach.
