In this video Dr. Amma Ghartey-Tagoe Kootin (Assistant Professor, Department of Theatre and Film Studies and the Institute for African American Studies, University of Georgia) reads the book "Marching with Aunt Susan" written by Claire Rudolf Murphy and illustrated by Stacey Schuett. The story was inspired by the diary of the real Bessie Keith Pond, a ten-year-old girl who lived in California during the suffrage campaign.
