With the implementation of AYP, if an 18F employee has a supplement the
position in which the employee is seated will need to
have the supplement earnings code specifically funded. If the
supplement earnings code is not funded the supplement amount will not be
encumbered – only the contract amount will be encumbered. MSS System
Managers will need to know the employee’s supplement
Comp Rate Code and can then use this ‘mapping’ document to get the
appropriate earnings code that will need to be funded.
