Info on funding supplements: UGA is expected to establish job earnings distribution (JED) for all supplemental pay types and to separately account for these earnings. Once the supplement earnings code is funded, the supplement amount will be encumbered. It is important to note that the supplement earnings code should be funded even if that supplement is funded by the same combo code as regular earnings. MSS System Managers will need to know the employee’s supplement Comp Rate Code and can then use the mapping document below to get the appropriate earnings code that will need to be funded.
