As part of our video and podcast series on of the Donald Hollowell Lecture, we met with Shalini Kantayya the director of the Emmy-nominated documentary Coded Bias.  In this presentation, she discusses the ways in which algorithms in video recognition software can lead to racial/ethnic bias. Her presentation also focuses on how we can engage in Digital  Civil and Human Rights in the 21st Century.
