The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) is a U.S. Department of Energy asset that enables America’s scientific competitiveness by training the next generation of STEM experts. The session will cover information about the ORISE program, and how Federal Agencies utilize the program to support STEM education and recruit talented students into the public sector. Will White is a Section Manager with the ORISE Workforce Development group. His team manages the STEM-WD programs for the CDC. He has been with Oak Ridge Associated Universities since 2016, managing programs for FDA and DOE prior to joining the CDC team.
