Junhua Huang, a visiting
research scholar to UGA’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, has
made the most of her experience at UGA. Dr. Huang
was able to further her research in the utilization of
wild ornamental plant resources by taking
special workshops from plant breeders in
Tifton, Athens, and Griffin. She was especially
excited about developing her own personal research with the famous
flower of Georgia: The Magnolia!
Enjoying the spring season in Georgia the most, she took
over 1,000 pictures of flowers on her phone! She encourages other visitors to
enjoy the beautiful temperatures and get outside to work, study, or just enjoy
a cup of Coffee! Local places she has enjoyed visiting
during her time here include Lake Herrick, the State Botanical Garden,
and Savannah.
